About

I’m a noble gas geochemist currently working as a Postdoc at the Centre de Recherches Pétrographiques et Géochimiques in Nancy, France.

Throughought my career I’ve studied noble gas isotopes, using them as geochemical tracers in a variety of different environments. I’m currently working primarily on extraterrestrial meteorite samples, developing new techniques for analysing cosmogenic exposure ages using laser ablation. I also work on volcanic systems, where noble gas isotopes can provide insights as to the volatile composition of the deep interior of the Earth.

Prior to moving to France, I did my PhD at the University of Oxford, where I worked on noble gases in hydrocarbons and geothermal systems. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Cambridge, with my Master’s thesis focused on the use of sulfur and oxygen isotopes to trace microbial sulfate reduction.
